In August and Nov/December 2014 teams went to South Sudan to empower on the ground with grass roots projects which included; clean water projects, small business development, windows and orphans empowerment programs and leadership development.

This November and December Gordon Skopnik and Eric Musee as well as a team of 4 other people returned from South Sudan and much was accomplished: - Leadership organization development and life skills education with key leaders, pastors, youth and church leaders was all part of this trip. Community health workers were trained and given certificates. These people came from Kajo Keji, Yei River County, Mundri, and Juba (the capital of South Sudan) for education in Clean Water and sanitation. Over 50 people were trained who after this education will help provide clean water to 1000's. - BSF (Bio Sand Filter) manager education was also provided to 16 people from 3 locations and two states in South Sudan.

 - Economic and small business empowerment was also provided focusing on solar lighting for use in private homes. Other activities included organizational capacity building for an orphanage in South Sudan, as well as child and trauma risk development and follow-up.
