Training

Training:

In unity we decided to gather believing and trustworthy leaders from the different camps to
take the church planting training, with the goal of then training others. Then when South
Sudan is peaceful again, they can take the training back to their own country, promoting it’s
full content in the church planting context. The training includes: character building,
leadership training, trauma care, peace and reconciliation, social economic development,
and life (community) skills development – to mention a few. The training is done in 5
modules throughout the year and empowers the “church” to plant churches where there is
yet no church!
We completed the 1st module in April with 35 participants representing a number of
different tribes and denominations. All were eager to learn and we heard comments like,
“We’ve never heard this kind of truth before.” Each participant will have to implement their
learning through tools provided and are kept in accountability with our national leadership
on the ground and partners from the USA (Lee and Amanda Ray) and (Omari Omotto) from
Kenya.

We are serving camps as large as 270,000 people and in many cases very diverse!
