Last Trip To South Sudan

Education in South Sudan
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ!
Our May trip to South Sudan was bathed in prayer and we are incredibly grateful!
You prayed for health – in spite of many malaria carrying mosquitos & the usual need to guard against ingesting destructive bacteria – God granted us health!
You prayed for safety – through many flights – God granted us safety!
You prayed for peace – and the towns we stayed in were peaceful!

You prayed regarding the teaching – and God gave joy in that opportunity!

Here is a young couple we met in our training sessions!  Gismala & Christine have hearts to reach the lost and vulnerable.  They have already begun a ministry of evangelism & church planting, children’s work, and a tailoring business for a dear widow.  We look forward to walking alongside this dear family.

Meet Ruth, a wonderful South Sudanese woman who runs a program for pastors wives from remote places in the Nuba mountains.  The program includes basic hygiene, child rearing,
Ruth and Sharon
soap making & crocheting or knitting for income generating , basic English, and Bible.  Sharon is hoping to help with this program on her next trip.

Omari (our Kenyan partner) helps us in many ways in the planning and implementation of our projects on the ground.  He always joins us on our trips and then while we are in Canada, he visits the sites to make sure the work is moving forward.  We thank God for him.

Thank you for praying!   Thank you for giving!  Thank you for walking alongside us in this ministry!

                   In Christ, Gordon & Sharon

Our friends in South Sudan also appreciate your prayers for them and their country.  They appreciate you sending us to them, and they have asked us to pass along greetings to you…

Also meet our Sponsored Son Moga:
